Meet Paul Thomsen — the incredible NT wildlife photographer behind WildFoto.
Born and raised in Darwin, Paul has spent his entire life surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Top End. With more than 35 years behind the lens — and over a decade of professional photography — Paul has developed an extraordinary ability to capture animals, landscapes, and wild moments exactly as the Territory reveals them: raw, powerful, and deeply authentic.

Through his brand WildFoto, Paul’s work showcases everything we love about the NT — dramatic storm fronts, majestic crocodiles, delicate birdlife, wetlands, bushland and sweeping horizons. His breathtaking images have been featured in exhibitions, prints, calendars, and his own gallery in Marrakai, where visitors can experience his art up close.
